California mobilehome parks are licensed and regulated by the California Housing and Community Development Department (HCD). California law governing mobilehome parks is entitled the Mobilehome Parks Act and may be found in Section. Part 2.1 of the California Health and Safety Code, commencing section 18200.

The rights and obligations of mobilehome park homeowners, tenants and management may be found in the Mobilehome Residency Law Handbook (PDF).  Mobilehome Park regulations (updated 4-1-2013) are found in the California Code of Regulations, title 25, chapter 2, commencing with section 1000.
